Dance Instructors

Dance Element Studios has experienced, committed and caring dance teachers. They excel at making their classes fun and challenging.

Natalie Newling, Director

Natalie has been teaching dance for over 34 years. Her love and passion for dance began at seven years of age when she dreamed of having her own studio.

Natalie has trained extensively in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. She has a wealth of experience in teaching dance, coaching students for eisteddfods and organising charity events. Her goal is to foster a warm, welcoming and fun studio where students not only learn excellence in dance but are able to use their creative talents to help others.



Brooke Foley,

Dance Co-ordinator 

Brooke began her training at Sonja Dene Dance Studios studying classical Ballet (RAD), Jazz, Musical Theatre and Contemporary. She soon found herself a part of the Australian Ballet Junior Associates program, which meant frequently travelling to Melbourne to train with the prestigious Australian Ballet School. In 2012, Brooke received a Classical scholarship to attend the McDonald College of Performing Arts, balancing academics and dance Brooke completed all her RAD exams with Distinctions.

Brooke was successfully chosen as a contemporary dance major for three consecutive years with the New Zealand School of Dance and mentored by a company member of the Royal New Zealand Ballet. In September 2015, Brooke began studying full-time Ballet at Brussels International Ballet in Belgium.

In 2020, Brooke graduated from the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) with a Bachelor of Dance Education with the hope to share her love for dance with others and assist in achieving her student’s dreams.


Amy Taylor


Amy started dancing at age five and has trained in many different styles including Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Ballet. She has performed and competed with Dance Element Studios for the last nine years.

She has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Dance and Performance from Macquarie University where she studied various styles of dance and learned extensive performance genres including dance, theatre, music and much more. Amy loves to teach kids and help them develop their dance skills and technique. As a teacher she hopes to help her students grow in their love of dance and assist them in achieving their dreams and goals.


Hannah Fowler

Hannah started dancing from an early age and began full time classical training at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy in 2011. Whilst training under Tanya Pearson, she performed with the Sydney City Youth Ballet in numerous productions of Cinderella, The Polar Express and The Nutcracker. In 2013, Hannah moved to Scotland to further her dance education and achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with First Class Honours. During this time, she gained experience dancing all over Scotland with a professional touring ballet company, performing in works such at Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake. 

In 2014 Hannah participated in the prestigious Genée International Ballet Competition in Antwerp, Belgium, an achievement which remains a career highlight of hers. Since graduating in 2016, Hannah returned to Australia and began developing her career as a dance teacher and choreographer. In 2018 Hannah relocated to London, living as a freelance dancer and teacher. Early 2020 Hannah was chosen to perform in a revived creation of Jenufer with the Royal Opera, in Covent Garden. Hannah is excited to share her passion and experience with her students.



Annabelle Husband

Annabelle has been dancing since the young age of six, training in all aspects of dance, drama, acrobatics and singing for 12 years. She has competed as a soloist in The Ultimate Dance Challenge, Dance Defi, Adrenaline, I.R.B.D and Energy Express Eisteddfod, being lucky enough to place in all competitions. Annabelle has extensive training in Jazz, Broadway Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Ballet (RAD), Acrobatics, Singing and Drama.

Annabelle has been lucky enough to be mentored by some of Australia’s top choreographers such as Blake John Wood, Stephen Tannos, Lauren Elton, Nathan Wright, Mitch Winter and Dani Evrat. These accredited choreographers inspired her to pursue her dream to be a professional dancer and a choreographer.

Annabelle completed her Cert IV in Dance performance with Village Nation Performing Arts Studio in 2021. Annabelle is furthering her training, completing a Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2022. Annabelle was selected by Jacqui Howard, Briden Starr and Lisa Graham-Wilson as a singing soloist for her 2021 Village graduation performance.

She has become a well rounded dancer, singer, performer but has shown incredible skills as a choreographer and is ready to share her passion with her students. Annabelle challenges her students to be the best they can be, gently encouraging them to work outside their comfort zone and try new skills.



Lyndon Frykberg 

Lyndon holds an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts from ED5 International. Lyndon’s dream is to successfully work as a performer around the world. He loves to create, choreograph and teach and hopes to work alongside some talented artists in the future. Lyndon represented Australia at Hip Hop International in Phoenix, Arizona where his crew ‘Wolfpack’ achieved a place in the semi finals.


Rebecca Morrison

Rebecca has danced with Dance Element Studios for the past ten years and has trained in many styles including Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Ballet. She has completed RAD ballet exams to an advanced level as well as competing in solo, duo and troupe eisteddfods. Rebecca has also been selected for three years running to perform HSC dance compositions and received first place in Dance during her senior years at high school. She teaches Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical with Dance Element Studios.


Alani Siswoyo

Alani started dancing at the young age of three with Dance Element Studios and has been teaching Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz and Conditioning/Stretching classes since 2018.

As of 2021 she was accepted into Sydney Dance Company’s, Pre Professional Year course. Commencing in 2022, Alani will be working towards not only an Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance but will also be furthering her artistic, technical and vocational skills in Contemporary and Ballet.

Alani’s classes are an open and positive space that value each dancer’s individual practice and unique style, whilst also ensuring that her students execute movement safely. Alani hopes to show her students the purposeful perspective of dance when in need of a creative outlet.


Jess Feltham

Jess started dancing at the age of three in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and Acro. She has completed RAD ballet exams to a high level and competed in countless troupe and solo eisteddfods achieving exceptional results. Jess has been chosen to take place in many Year 12 HSC compositions and has also been regularly selected to perform in School Spectacular. Jess teaches Jazz at Dance Element Studios.


Rebecca Spence 

Rebecca began dancing at a young age and has always found dance to be a fun and creative activity. She has trained extensively at Dance Element Studios in Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet dance styles, completing RAD vocational ballet exams as well as competing in several eisteddfods. In the past, Rebecca was selected as a HSC composition performer multiple times and completed HSC Dance, reinforcing her love of dance as an art form.
Rebecca’s aim is to create a supportive and fun environment for young dancers to flourish as they discover their own love of dance. Rebecca teaches with the Special Olympics and Wahroonga Adventist School.



Jordan Pilon

Jordan started dance at the age of three, training in many different styles including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop. She joined the Dance Element Studios Senior Performance Troupe in 2016 and has successfully competed in  a number of eisteddfods. Jordan has also completed Ballet Australasia Limited exams and completed Dance as an HSC subject. Jordan has always been passionate about dance and is excited to share that passion and love of dance with her young students.

Eliza Moon

Eliza has been dancing with Dance Element Studios continuously for 15 years. She started with us at age four. During this time she has attended classes in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Lyrical. She has completed RAD Ballet Exams and has competed in many troupe eisteddfods with Dance Element Studios. Eliza loves to perform and has a passion for dance. She is eager to share her experience and knowledge with younger dancers and enjoys seeing them grow their passion and skills in dance.

Alyssa Kozlovsky

Allyssa began her dance training at the age of 3 and continued technical training in the RAD Ballet Syllabus, receiving consistent Distinctions, through her teenage years. During her Ballet training, she competed in solo and group Eisteddfods and notably performed at the Opera House after winning Sydney Eisteddfod’s group ballet section in 2012.  This technical background in classical Ballet training gave her the best possible background to move into her commercial Jazz studies. Allyssa then chose to pursue commercial training in the styles of Commercial Jazz, Technical Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap, and Musical Theatre.  In 2021 she trained full-time at Brent Street, gaining her Diploma in Performing Arts.

Jessica Palozzi 

Assistant Teacher 

Jess began dancing at the age of five and has completed seven years of gymnastics training. She attends Senior Troupe, Contemporary and RAD Ballet Exam classes at Dance Element Studios. Jess enjoys working with young children and helping them develop their skills.  She is always excited to share her love of dancing and performing with others.


Abby Menzies-Jackson

Assistant Teacher

Abby has been dancing for ten years attending classes in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Ballet. She has completed RAD Ballet Exams up to Advanced Foundation as well as performing in many Dance Element Studios showcases. Abby has a love for dance and hopes to encourage younger dancers to experience that same love.


Charlotte Dunn

Assistant Teacher

Charlotte has been dancing since she was five and has competed in gymnastics for eight years. She studies Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz at Dance Element Studios and loves working with young children. Charlotte has already built a beautiful rapport with her students and enjoys assisting at the studio and at our school-based classes.
